Goombas are a recurring enemy in the Mario series and one of the most prominent species in the Mushroom World. They are weak and not much of a threat to Mario, usually able to be defeated with just one stomp, although there are several sub-species. Not all Goombas are bad, however. Some Goombas, like Goombario and Goombella, are Mario's allies. It has many sub-species, like the Paragoomba.
Appearance[]
The Goomba is a brown, mushroom-like creature with brown feet. It has to sharp fangs that stick up from the bottom of its mouth.

The classic enemy is still trying to help defeat Mario, but it can't do much being so small; however, Mario must fight a Goomba that becomes giant after Kamek uses magic on it.
